Sutter is our first baby and our first weimaraner. He begun our obsession with the breed and will always be our idea of the perfect weimaraner. We have Sutter's breeders, Janet and Dick Seilheimer, to thank for giving us such a wonderful dog and inviting us into their family. Sutter was our learning dog in all areas and yet he has forgiven us our mistakes. He taught me how to win and lose in the show ring. He was the reason we bought our first gun and got hunting fever. He taught us that you don't have to pass your obedience class the first or second time (but by the third we were top in our class). But mostly he taught us patience, understanding, and the meaning of unconditional love.

Sutter finished his show championship from the Open Class. It was so much fun traveling and competing throughout the Northwest. I promised Sutter when he finished he could retire from the show ring and concentrate full time on his true love - hunting. Sutter is truly created for hunting. His light, compact structure and tight muscled form makes him a natural for a day in the field. He has a stylish point and an instinctual honor. His natural versatility is inspiring and gaurantees he will never find himself truly retired. We are looking forward to many years of competition in all aspects of canine sports.
